Rogério Bordini is a PhD student in Human-Computer Interaction at the Helmut Schmidt University, specialist in 3D modelling, sound and game design. In addition to working as a game designer at the Laboratory of Learning Objects (Federal University of São Carlos – Brazil) since 2014 and as a researcher at the Affective & Cognitive Institute (Offenburg University of Applied Sciences – Germany) since 2018, in the last years Rogério has been the lead game designer of several educational and serious games projects which explored a variety of topics focused on music education, nursing, obesity, chemistry, customization and accessibility. His current research is focused on immersive virtual environments (VR) and gamification for mental health treatment.
