Franziska Schäfer holds a degree in education with a focus on media education and works as a research assistant at the Institute of Media Research and Media Education at the TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences Cologne, Germany. There she coordinates the research lab „Media Worlds“ and is team member of the joint project „Ganztag-digital: Digital Media and Media Education in the Social World of the All-day School“. She has wide experiences in designing online and blended learning services for young people and educational professionals, especially in the context of early childhood and media education.
