Dr. Christian T. Toth is researching digital media in the context of informal, non-formal and formal education with special interests in personality development and procrastination. In his Ph.D. he analyzed what influence personality, procrastination and motivation have on participants’ performances in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). In 2019, he started working on his newest project: “Researching Digital Games: Informal Learning and Analyzing Learning Potentials”. He is currently working at Johannes Gutenberg-University in Mainz, Germany at the Institute for Educational Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Educational Science and a Diploma in Pedagogy, Psychology and Sociology.
