Thorsten Unger speaks, writes and advises on digital games as an efficient method to transport knowledge. His mission: Games offer great opportunities that we should not miss as a society and economy. He was the Managing Director of the German Developer Association (“Game”) and spokesman for the German Cultural Council “Deutscher Kulturrat” for film and audio-visual media. In addition to various jury and advisory board activities, he is heading a mentoring program to promote young talents. As an entrepreneur, he invests into games, gamification and serious games. He is the founder of Wegesrand, a design studio for interactive knowledge transfer. He is also involved in the game developer Linked Dimensions, the transmedia studio Unger & Fiedler and the Edtech company Vita Learning.
