Over the course of my studies at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar I started making interactive installations and computer games. I continued working in this field as and artist in residence at the Center for Art and Media in Karlsruhe, where I mainly built robots. My first shipped game was Project: Nomads with Radon Labs Berlin in 2002. Since then I’ve worked on all Crysis games and Ryse at Crytek, the cancelled Dead Island 2 game at Yager Development and on Horizon: Zero Dawn at Guerrilla Games in Amsterdam. I’ve been teaching game development for over 10 years and speak regularly at game conferences. I am currently the Franchise Creative Director for Star Wars: Battlefront at DICE in Stockholm.
At night I draw the adventures of Duchesse Ariadne, the famous 19th century penguin adventuress and scientist.
