Vanessa Ossa is a Media Studies scholar at the University of Cologne and at the University of Amsterdam. In 2019, she concluded her PhD in Media Studies at the Collective Research Center Threatened Orders — Societies Under Stress at the University of Tuebingen, Germany. Her research areas include Comics Studies, Fan Studies, transmedia storytelling, and post-9/11 representations of conflict.
