• Jennifer Jenson

    Dr. Jennifer Jenson is Director of the Institute for Research on Digital Learning and Professor of Pedagogy and Technology in the Faculty of Education at York University, Canada. She is currently the Principal Investigator of a 2.5 million dollar, Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada funded project that is attempting to intervene in the hostile world of work and play when it comes to digital games, “Re-Figuring Innovation in Games” (www.refig.ca). She has published on digital games and learning, gender, technology and digital games, online learning and technology policy and policy practices in K-12 schooling. She is also currently working on a project that is exploring computational thinking through game design (www.thinkdesignplay.ca), and another (with Suzanne de Castell) that explores how video games can support the acquisition of spacial skills.
